The 1975

The 1975 is a British band from Manchester, England, with vocalist Matthew Healy, guitarist Adam Hann, bassist Ross MacDonald, and drummer George Daniel.

On August 7, 2012, The 1975 released their debut EP, Facedown, featuring their single, "The City." Quickly following their last release, the band put out their second EP, Sex, on November 19, 2012. The group's third EP, Music for Cars, was then dropped on March 4, 2013, featuring their track, "Chocolate." Within months, The 1975 released their fourth EP, IV, on May 20, 2013.

The band eventually put out their self-titled debut album on September 2, 2013. On Feburary 26, 2016, the 1975 dropped their second studio album, I Like It When You Sleep, for You Are So Beautiful yet So Unaware of It. A Brief Inquiry into Online Relationships, the band's third album, then premiered on November 30, 2018.
